Job summary

John Betlem Heating & Cooling, part of TurnPoint Services, is seeking an HVAC Install Technician to join the team. The role focuses on installing residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems with a commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional customer experience.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of installation experience, EPA Universal Certification, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential or light commercial HVAC installation experience required.
• HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and installation manuals.
• Strong understanding of HVAC design, airflow and duct layout.
• Able to work in attics, crawlspaces and outdoors.
• Must lift up to 100 lbs and maintain safety.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems and ventilation components.
• Lay out, fabricate and install ductwork and related fittings to specification.
• Perform start-up, testing and commissioning of newly installed equipment.
• Ensure installations meet local codes, manufacturer specs and company standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and vehicles.
• Collaborate with Install Leads, Supervisors and team members to complete jobs safely and on time.
• Communicate with homeowners about system operation and maintenance.
• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.

Role Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Install Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the installation of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience on every project.

What You Bring

Pay Range

USD $25.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.
