Job summary

Prince Telecom, LLC is hiring an entry-level Fiber Installation Technician. You will set up and maintain fiber optic networks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uninterrupted service. The role includes traveling and potential after-hours work, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone based on guidelines.
• Install, setup and configure all equipment.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Review all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement.
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.

What you’ll do

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
