Job summary

Prince Telecom LLC is seeking a Technician Fiber Installation to set up and maintain fiber optic networks for customers. You will install, troubleshoot, and configure equipment, ensuring reliable service and customer satisfaction.

You will handle on-site duties, educate customers, and participate in after-hours work when required, under all weather conditions. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and responsive service.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines
• Install, setup and configure all equipment
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Do

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
