Job summary

Prince Telecom in Missouri is seeking a Field Technician Fiber Installation to set up and maintain fiber optic networks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uninterrupted service. The role offers weekly pay and benefits including PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) match.

You’ll install, configure equipment, educate customers, and work in all weather conditions while supporting overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines
• Install, setup and configure all equipment
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
