Qualifications

2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
EPA Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
Hold and maintain Type I and Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report.
Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, or OUI within the last five years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
No serious traffic violations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
18 years or older
High School Diploma or equivalent
Option 1: Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls
Option 2: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field
Where required, HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work at heights frequently
Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program is preferred
Mechanical license in city and/or state where job is located is preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.
