- Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems, including ductwork, control panels, and refrigeration units
- Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues across commercial and industrial equipment
- Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to optimize performance and reduce downtime
- Manage refrigerant handling in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations
- Coordinate and mentor field teams, provide hands-on training, and evaluate skill development
- Maintain parts inventory, vendor relationships, and service schedules
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical operational needs outside regular hours
- Coordinate service priorities and resolve issues promptly
- Contribute to process improvements and workforce development

Requirements
- Option 1: 3 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration
- Option 2: 6 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Hold and maintain Type I and Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling
- Where required, HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman
- 1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area, or 2 years’ Walmart store experience
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report
- Commercial driving record with no DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions within the last five years
- Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations within the last three years
- No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
- No serious traffic violations under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA refrigerant handling protocols, and federal, state, and local HVAC/R codes
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lead and mentor field teams and provide hands-on technical training
- Proficiency managing parts inventory, vendor relationships, and service workloads
- Effective communication and accurate documentation skills
- Commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous improvement
