Qualifications

3 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration or 6 years with an AAS
EPA Type I and Type II or Universal refrigerant handling certification
HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman where required
1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area, or 2 years Walmart store experience
Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report
Commercial driving record with no DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions within the last five years
Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations within the last three years
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
No serious traffic violations under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
Knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA refrigerant handling protocols, and federal, state, and local HVAC/R codes
Strong mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
Ability to lead and mentor field teams and provide hands-on technical training
Proficiency managing parts inventory, vendor relationships, and service workloads
Effective communication and accurate documentation skills
Commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous improvement
