Job summary

Home Comfort Experts, part of TurnPoint Services, seeks a Plumbing Drain Technician to diagnose, clean, and maintain residential drain systems. You will deliver outstanding customer experiences while performing drain cleaning, jetting, and camera inspections on service calls.

A valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. compensation is hourly between $22 and $28 with turnovers and spiffs; typical schedule is Monday–Friday with one weekend day per month.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of drain cleaning experience.
• 1+ years using hydro jets, electric snakes, or sewer cameras.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and work in various weather.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work for residential/light commercial calls.
• Provide camera service to diagnose mainline stoppages.
• Explain solutions and obtain customer agreement before service; collect payment as needed.
• Maintain truck parts and stock; restock to minimum levels.
• Communicate professionally with customers and office staff; participate in training.

Role Overview

Technician Drains (2025-1138)

At Home Comfort Experts, our Plumbing Drain Technicians restore flow as assigned in the most efficient manner while providing the highest quality client experience. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, cleaning, and maintaining residential plumbing drain systems. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to excellence.

Compensation: Hourly: $22-$28.00 + turnovers and spiffs

Schedule: Monday- Friday, One weekend day per month

Role Responsibilities

• Complete all drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work related to residential and light commercial service calls.
• Provide Camera service to obtain visual on mainline stoppages/clogs as needed.
• Build customer Repour and describe diagnosed problems to customers and provide solutions.
• Explain the features and benefits of each solution. Obtain agreement for services before performing work and collect payment.
• Maintain truck inventory of parts and restock truck to minimum stock levels.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and co-workers.
• Wear all applicable Personal Protective gear while operating in a safe manner.
• Participate in required staff meetings and training.

Required Experience

• 2 or more years of drain cleaning experience
• 1 or more years' experience using hydro jets, electric snakes, and/or sewer cameras
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, work in various weather conditions, and enter confined spaces as needed.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite

Preferred Experience

• Intermediate knowledge/use of industry standard software (I.E Service Titan, or other related systems)
