An established industry player is seeking a skilled MRI Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Under the direction of a radiologist, performs MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs MRI examinations for diagnostic purposes, labels, and displays photographic images.
Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis.
Maintains records, images, and the cleanliness of the assigned area.
Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Ensures MRI safety protocols are strictly followed to protect patients, staff, and equipment.
EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma; Associate's Degree preferred.
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiology technology and MRI training, meeting ARRT certification requirements.
Valid license by the State of New York; Injection registered.
