Job summary

Leppo Rents in Dothan, AL is seeking experienced diesel mechanics who can work on skid steers, mini excavators, and telehandlers with confidence and efficiency. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on our rental fleet, using computer-based tools and hands-on troubleshooting while mentoring teammates across Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on compact construction equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems).
• Handle routine maintenance to keep our rental fleet in “ready-to-work” condition.
• Use computer-based diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
• Keep detailed repair and maintenance records and manage work orders.
• Mentor and collaborate with teammates across Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental.
