Job summary

Ziegler CAT in St. Cloud, MN is seeking a Rental Diesel Technician for 2nd shift (10am–6:30pm) to service Ziegler-owned rental equipment and non-CAT gear at the St. Cloud location.

The position requires a 2-year diesel technology degree or equivalent experience, with strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and ability to document work orders and work safely.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree in diesel tech or HS diploma with 2 years related experience.
• 2+ years of diesel engine/equipment repair experience preferred.
• Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, driveline, electrical/electronics; CAT experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment including skid steers, compact wheel loaders, mini excavators, aerial lifts, tele-handlers, and other light/medium gear.
• Document work orders thoroughly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work safely and follow company policies; assist other technicians as needed.
• Participate in training to enhance skills and product knowledge.
