Ziegler CAT Rochester is seeking a Diesel Technician to service a variety of rental equipment, including compact and heavy construction gear as well as agricultural machines. This full-time role offers a progression path, frequent training, and a strong safety culture in a well-equipped shop environment.

Starting wage ranges from $27.00 to $45.00 per hour, with location-based adjustments. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, PTO, 401(k), HSA, and more, plus opportunities to work on CAT

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree in diesel technology or related field.
• 2+ years of diesel equipment repair experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems, electrical, and fuel systems.
• Ability to write and communicate effectively and document work orders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Caterpillar equipment including compactors, excavators, loaders, dozers, and other agricultural equipment.
• Document work orders in a complete and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work safely at all times, following company policies, procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with other technicians as needed regarding troubleshooting repairs and training.
