Triumph Actuation Systems-Clemmons is seeking skilled machinists/assembly technicians to produce hydraulic components through subassembly, assembly, acceptance testing, and finishing. Candidates read drawings, follow specifications, and maintain records.

Ideal applicants have aviation maintenance experience, an Airframe & Powerplant license, and proficiency with measuring tools. This role requires lifting up to 40 lbs and standing all day; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of aviation maintenance, military, or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and basic math.

Responsibilities

  • Produce hydraulic components via subassembly, assembly, testing, and finishing.
  • Assemble using drawings and specifications.
  • Record acceptance test data and work records accurately.
  • Train others in measuring tools (OD/ID micrometers, height gages, calipers).
  • Read instructions and drawings to build components.
  • Follow Triumph Actuation Systems-Clemmons procedures.
  • Meet production deadlines with proper procedures.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and repair production units.
  • Contribute to team, follow safety rules, mentor others.
  • Report accidents and safety issues per EH&S policies.

Job description

  • Produce hydraulic components through subassembly, assembly, acceptance testing, and finishing (Final-out)
  • Build and finish hydraulic components using engineering drawings, assembly specifications, and industry specifications
  • Accurately record assembly work records and acceptance test data sheets
  • Use and train others in measuring tools, including OD and ID micrometers, height gages, dial calipers, and optical flats
  • Build and assemble components by reading assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and written instructions
  • Follow Triumph Actuation Systems-Clemmons procedures and paperwork systems
  • Meet production deadlines by following correct procedures without supervision
  • Troubleshoot, build, test, and repair production units
  • Contribute to team efforts, work safely, learn procedures, follow team-leader direction, and train less-experienced employees
  • Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and report accidents, incidents, near misses, and dangerous conditions
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of experience in aviation maintenance, military, or manufacturing
  • Airframe & Powerplant License holder preferred
  • Demonstrable mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to bend and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to sit or stand for a minimum of eight hours per day
  • U.S. applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • For applicable positions involving US export-controlled technology, must be a US Person under ITAR or eligible for approval for a U.S. Government export license
