Job summary

Triumph Group in Clemmons, NC is seeking an assembler to produce products by assembling parts and subassemblies in a level III assembler position. The role requires reading drawings and instructions, training others on measurement tools, and meeting deadlines.

The candidate should have 2 years in aviation maintenance, military, or manufacturing, with a high school diploma or GED and preferably an A&P license. This is an on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years in aviation maintenance, military, or manufacturing.
• Airframe & Powerplant license preferred; strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently use and train others in measuring tools (e.g., OD & ID micrometers, height gages, dial calipers, optical flats).
• Reads assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and written instructions to build components.
• Understand Triumph Actuation Systems-Clemmons procedures and paperwork system.
• Meets production deadlines by following correct procedures without supervision.
• Able to assemble 60%+ of Triumph Actuation Systems-Clemmons products from prep work to final assembly.
• Troubleshoot, build and repair production units.
• Contribute to team effort, work safely, and train others with less experience.

Produces products by assembling parts and subassemblies in a level III assembler position.

Major Accountabilities:

• Proficiently use and train others in the use of measuring tools (e.g. OD & ID Micrometers, height gages, dial calipers, optical flats, etc. ).
• Takes the initiative to build and assemble components by reading assembly instructions, engineering drawings and written instructions.
• Proficient in the understanding of Triumph Actuation Systems-Clemmons procedures and paper work system.
• Meets production deadlines by following correct procedures without supervision.
• Capable of attaining the knowledge of assembling 60% or more of the Triumph Actuation Systems-Clemmons products from prep work to final assembly.
• Troubleshoot, build and repair production units.
• Contribute to team effort, work safely, and maintain a positive attitude, by learning procedures, following the leadership of your team leader, and training others with less experience.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements: Work may require bending, carrying up to 40 lbs. Sitting or standing up to a minimum for eight hours per day

Minimum Education Required: High school diploma or GED.

Minimum Years of Experience Required: Two years in aviation maintenance, military, or manufacturing.
