Job summary

Sammons Industrial, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician II (Heavy Line) to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild major systems on material handling equipment in Gainesville, GA. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and welding/fabrication to manufacturer specs while maintaining accurate service documentation and organized parts inventory.

You must have a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of hands-on experience with heavy equipment; welding and certifications

Qualifications

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild major systems on material handling equipment (engines, hydraulics, transmissions, electrical, brakes).
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, failure analysis, and welding/fabrication to manufacturer specs.
• Complete service documentation, manage parts inventory, keep vehicles and work areas organized and safe.
• Follow safety standards, OSHA/DOT regulations, participate in training, support a Safety-First culture.

Responsibilities
