Job summary

Sammons Industrial, including Sammons Warehouse Solutions, is seeking a Service Technician I (Heavy Line) to diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment in our shop and at customer locations. This on-site role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, strong mechanical skills, and at least 1 year of repair experience.

You’ll follow DOT/OSHA safety practices, document repairs, and participate in ongoing training while benefiting from ESOP ownership, competitive pay, and comprehensive

Qualifications

• 1+ years of equipment repair or related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and certification on at least 50% of the designated product line.
• Good communication and customer service skills with a Safety First mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, lifting systems, and other equipment components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and basic welding as needed.
• Follow safety practices while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Complete repair documentation, manage needed parts and supplies, and participate in required technical training.
