Job summary

Briggs Industrial Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled equipment technician to diagnose, repair, and rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and other material handling systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic welding, with work at customer sites and in the shop. Required is 3+ years in equipment repair or related field, strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of equipment repair or related experience; trade school or technician certification preferred.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills; welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Certification on at least 65% of the designated product line and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, drive components, lifting systems, and other material handling equipment.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and basic welding while following manufacturer and company standards.
• Provide dependable service at customer sites and in the shop while maintaining accurate service records, parts, tools, and your company vehicle.
• Follow all safety requirements, participate in training and certifications, and help maintain our Safety First culture.
