Job summary

Sammons Industrial is seeking a Technician 2 to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy line equipment at customer sites and in the shop. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting while ensuring safety and quality. Valid driver’s license and own tools required; travel/on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of equipment repair experience or related work.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments; welding/fabrication a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, lifting systems, and other equipment components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and basic welding per standards.
• Maintain service records, parts, and a clean, safe company vehicle; follow safety requirements.
