Job summary

Sammons Warehouse Solutions is seeking an experienced technician to diagnose, repair, and rebuild material handling equipment on-site in Georgia. You will work with engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems to keep equipment safe and productive.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years' repair experience, valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. You must furnish your own tools and have strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and 3+ years repairing designated equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and troubleshooting skills; certification on at least 65% of the designated product line.
• Reliable, customer-first attitude with good communication; ability to lift up to 75 pounds and provide your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild material handling equipment and major components, including engines, transmissions, drive axles, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical systems, electric motors, and lifting systems.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, failure analysis, basic welding, and other repairs to keep equipment operating safely and according to manufacturer specifications.
• Put safety first on every job by properly blocking, chocking, chaining, and disassembling equipment and following all company, DOT, OSHA, and applicable regulatory requirements.
