Job summary

Sammons Industrial is hiring an on-site equipment technician to diagnose, repair, and rebuild material handling equipment and major components. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic welding as required, while maintaining safety standards and customer focus.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of hands-on repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and prefer technical training or certifications on product lines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required with a valid driver’s license.
  • 3+ years of experience repairing designated equipment or related industry.
  • Trade school training and technician certification are preferred.
  • Certification on at least 65% of the designated product line.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild material handling equipment and major components.
  • Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic welding as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols, block and secure equipment, and comply with regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and teammates during service calls.
