FastTek Global currently seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician in Flint, MI to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, testing, and system startup support. The role emphasizes documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in industrial environments.

The candidate will diagnose a range of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, repair instrumentation, and ensure safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, perform, and document preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Complete verification, SOX witness inspections, and compliance tasks.
• Support checkout and startup of new or modified systems.
• Assist with project implementation and system integration.
• Maintain accurate records, system documentation, and maintenance logs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Repair, calibrate, and configure instrumentation and electronic devices.
• Diagnose communication issues and process control software faults.
• Analyze failures, implement corrective actions, and recommend long-term solutions.

• Maintenance & Reliability
  • Maintenance work orders — Plan, perform, and document preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Testing & inspections — Complete verification, SOX witness inspections, and compliance tasks.

  • Control software troubleshooting — Diagnose communication issues and process control software faults.
  • Root-cause analysis — Analyze failures, implement corrective actions, and recommend long-term solutions.

  • Technical recommendations — Advise on maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
