Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Technician in Jackson, Michigan to support engineering projects and field activities. You will collect data, assist with field tests, and help prepare drawings and reports under supervision. Travel to sites will be required to complete field work.

Qualifications

Duties

• Responsibilities include collecting/calculating data, basic testing in the field of specialization (if required), coordinating multiple engineering projects, supporting lead project engineers in design reviews, drawing comment consolidation, specification development and design reviews.
• Also responsible for preparing engineering drawings, maps, finished drawings and graphic exhibits.
• Develop field reports, inspection reports and project summary reports in support of lead project engineers.
• Willingness to attend site visits and travel as required for field work.
