Job summary

Aggreko in Cibolo, TX is seeking a Power or HVAC Technician 2 to service, repair, commission and operate Aggreko products. You’ll work from the Cibolo service center and travel locally in your company vehicle to customer sites.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of generator or commercial HVAC experience, with ability to read schematics, calculate tonnage or kW, and obtain needed credentials. We offer overtime, an annual bonus, comprehensive medical, and robust training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, and reading schematics.
• May need to obtain TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to move or lift objects up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Based at the Cibolo, TX service center and travel locally in a company vehicle to customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop and on customer locations and perform repairs.
• Set up and operate equipment on customer sites, alone or with other technicians.

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Power or HVAC Technician 2 in Cibolo, TX You’ll work as a team or independently in shops and at customer sites to service, repair, commission, and operate Aggreko products.

What you’ll do:

• You’ll be based out of our Cibolo, TX service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.

• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.

• You will either be out on your own or teamed up with other technician(s) to set up and operate equipment on customer sites.

You are:

• High School diploma/GED

• 2+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.

• Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.

• Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs.), push/pull (80 lbs.), carry (60 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs.), stoop, kneel and squat
