Job summary

Connection is seeking a Technician 1, Configuration to upgrade and configure computer systems for customers, ranging from low to moderately complex tasks. Under supervision, you will follow established procedures and contribute to project work as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, and either a CompTIA A+ or ITF+ certification or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire. Join a team that values innovation and practical IT solutions.

Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ or ITF+ Certification (or must obtain within 6 months of hire date).

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate to marginally advanced configuration jobs with minimal assistance from Senior Technicians and Leads while following work instruction documents.
• Ensures that hardware/software installed on customer’s system is compatible and at the desired version level.
• Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.

Overview

Working under direct supervision of the Supervisor, Configuration, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the Technician 1, Configuration is responsible for upgrading, and configuring computer systems and other products ordered by customers, ranging from low to marginally complex complexity levels.
