Job summary

Connection is seeking a Technician 1 to diagnose, fix, upgrade, and configure computer systems and products ordered by customers, ranging from low to moderately complex. You will work under the Team Leader, Depot, following established procedures and documents.

The role emphasizes IT support across hardware/software configurations, with a certification path (CompTIA A+ or ITF+ preferred or to be obtained within 6 months). High school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalency required.
• CompTIA A+ or ITF+ certification preferred (or must obtain within 6 months of hire date).

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate to marginally advanced configuration jobs with minimal assistance from Senior Technicians and Leads while following work instruction documents.
• Ensures that hardware/software installed on customer’s system is compatible and at the desired version level.
• Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.

Working under direct supervision of the Team Leader, Depot, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the Technician 1 is responsible for diagnosing, fixing, upgrading, and configuring computer systems and other products ordered by customers, ranging from low to marginally complex complexity levels.
