Job summary

Job Duties

• Inspect, analyze, repair, test, clean and calibrate complex electrical and mechanical systems. Install and maintain all types of instruments and controls.
• Ability to utilize all types of test equipment to diagnose electronic and mechanical equipment performance.

• Performs similar and related work consistent with the general nature of this job classification.

Experience

Five years' experience in an electrical generation power plant or similar industrial concern with at least three years' experience as a technician or equivalent. Applicant must have successfully completed Evergy's technician trainee program or an equivalent technician-training program. Training and experience should include maintaining complex control systems involving electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical devices. Successful completion of training programs and experience other than Evergy's must be documented.
