Job summary

Evergy is seeking an I&C Technician for the Lake Road Generating Station in St. Joseph, MO. You will inspect, repair, test, calibrate, and maintain complex electrical and mechanical systems and support performance and acceptance testing of new and existing equipment.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in an electrical generation power plant or similar industrial concern with at least three years' experience as a technician or equivalent.
• Training and experience should include maintaining complex control systems involving electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical devices.
• Successful completion of training programs and experience other than Evergy’s must be documented.
• Must address qualifications in the documentation submitted for consideration.

Experience

Five years' experience in an electrical generation power plant or similar industrial concern with at least three years' experience as a technician or equivalent. Applicant must have successfully completed Evergy’s technician trainee program or an equivalent technician-training program. Training and experience should include maintaining complex control systems involving electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical devices. Successful completion of training programs and experience other than Evergy’s must be documented.
