Job summary

CORPORATE CARE is hiring for a night shift cleaning technician in Richmond, VA. You will perform carpet and upholstery cleaning, hard floor restoration, and water extraction for commercial clients.

The role requires working from about 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM, weekends included, with a focus on safety and teamwork. You should have a high school education, a willingness to obtain IICRC certifications, and be able to drive company vehicles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• IICRC certifications desired but not mandatory.
• 1 year experience and/or training desired but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Fosters a consistent flow of communication with clients, technicians, and management.
• Ensures all work orders are completed per instructions with time and notes.
• Ensures jobs meet budgeted hours or better.
• Perform cleaning of carpet, upholstery, and hard surfaces and water restoration.
• Complete work orders with before/after pictures and notify supervisor of special circumstances.
• Maintain a safe work area and use caution signs/barriers.
• Drive company vehicles to client locations.
• Pursue obtaining IICRC certifications in relevant areas.
• Work nights and weekends as required.

The position is responsible for providing quality carpet & upholstery cleaning, hard floors restoration, and water extraction services to commercial clients. Additional accountabilities include, but not limited to: ensuring all actions are completed in a safe manner; following instructions on work orders; working as a team; maintains a consistent flow of communication with team; driving company vehicles; and, taking before and after pictures. This is a night position working from approximately 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional duties may be assigned.

• Fosters a consistent flow of communication with clients, technicians, and management
• Ensures all work is completed per work order instructions and ensures work orders are then completed with all proper time and notes captured
• Ensures all scheduled jobs come in at budgeted scheduled hours or better
• Maintains the ability to take pro-active and creative approaches in resolving any challenges
• Understand/accurately perform all cleaning (restorative/maintenance) methods for carpet, furniture and wall panels, to include, upholstery, fabric, and leather
• Understand and accurately perform cleaning (restorative and maintenance) methods for hard surfaces including but not limited to ceramic, porcelain and stone
• Understand and accurately perform water damage restoration
• Complete work order paperwork, before/after pictures after each job and notify supervisor of any special circumstances.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work area including the use of caution signs and barriers
• Be able to drive company vehicles to and from client locations
• Responsible for care and cleanliness of cleaning equipment and vehicles
• Report to work on time and in proper uniform
• Pursue obtaining IICRC certifications in commercial carpet, upholstery, water restoration and ceramic tile
• Follow rules, policies, regulations as outlined in company handbook
• Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner
• Physical demands; while performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand and walk, frequently required to use hands to fingers, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, frequently lift and or up to 50 pounds.

Summary
