Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Greater Houston – North is seeking a Cleaning and Restoration Technician to provide professional cleaning of carpets, tile and grout, upholstery, and HVAC ducts, and to support water restoration and mold remediation services. You will operate truckmounted systems and help maintain equipment and documentation.

Responsibilities include thorough completion of work orders, professional communication with customers, and ongoing training with advancement opportunities

Qualifications

• 2+ years cleaning experience using truckmounted systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Driver license in good standing.
• Basic computer skills to report daily activity and learn company software.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate cleaning/restoration equipment safely.
• Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, carpet cleaning, HVAC duct cleaning is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services offered by the company.
• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Complete the technician's daily log.
• Complete Work Orders.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
• Willing to work the occasional night/weekend shift.

Cleaning and Restoration Technician Job Summary

Provide professional and specialized service related to cleaning of carpets, tile/grout, other flooring systems, upholstery and HVAC ducts as well as assist in water restoration and mold remediation services.

Cleaning and Restoration Technician Qualifications and Experience

• >2 Years of Carpet, Tile/Grout, Upholstery, Hardwood cleaning experience, using truckmounted systems
• Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
• Driver License in good standing
• Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity. Capable of quickly learning to use company software systems.
• Technical Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate cleaning and restoration equipment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, company procedures, and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, carpet cleaning, HVAC duct cleaning, and related services is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Cleaning Technician Responsibilities

• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
