Job summary

Castlemitsubishi in Portage, IN is seeking an experienced Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles across engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, and AC systems. You will use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to identify issues and ensure customer safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a certified, master, or journeyman technician.
• ASE Certification required with A-level qualifications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

As a Technician, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. You’ll work to identify any automotive issues to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. You will test‑drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• Previous experience as a certified, master, or journeyman technician
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• ASE Certification required with A‑level qualifications
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand‑eye coordination
