Job description

We are looking for experienced, full-time automotive technicians. This role is responsible for providing service to our customers while maintaining exceptional customer service. Duties include cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, removal of parts and attachments, installation with proper manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning. The successful team member has at least one year of fleet, dealership, or technical school experience.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
  2. Read job orders, observe and listen to vehicles in operation to resolve malfunctions and plan work procedures.
  3. Follow checklists ensuring all critical parts are examined.
  4. Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices on trucks, and adjust as needed.
  5. Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper operation.
  6. Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
  7. Attend training classes and keep updated with factory technical bulletins.
  8. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall satisfaction.
  9. Properly complete the service and repairs as assigned by supervisor.
  10. Complete all work according to safety requirements and procedures.
  11. Participate in technical training as assigned by management.
  12. Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
  13. Ensure guest vehicles are returned clean.
  14. Show courtesy to guests, visitors, and dealership personnel.
  15. Achieve production objectives set by management.
  16. Adhere to manufacturer policies on labor operations, documentation, and torque specifications.
  17. Perform any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor or management.
