Job summary

Schomp Automotive Group in Aurora, CO is seeking an experienced automotive technician to perform routine maintenance and diagnose issues. You will work with a team to meet dealership goals and ensure quality service.

A valid driver's license and your own tools are required, with pay based on flat rate hours. The position offers a pay range of $25–$50 per flat rate hour, ongoing training, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as mainline technician in a dealership or automotive service center.
• The ability to work independently with limited supervision and continually improve knowledge and skills.
• You must possess and maintain your own complete set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues and recommend repairs.
• Collaborate with team to meet dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks.

What You'll Do

• Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance
• Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues, and accurately recommend replacement/repair as needed
• Work with your team toward achieving dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks
• Efficiently and accurately repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues, maintaining productivity goals

What You Need

• 2+ years of experience as mainline technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center required
• The ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate the motivation to continually increase your knowledge & technical skills
• Your own complete and up-to-date set of tools
• You must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
