Job summary

Amtel Repair’s CPR Cell Phone Repair by Amtel Repair in Albuquerque, NM, is hiring a Cell Phone Repair Technician. You will diagnose and repair phones, tablets, and other devices while delivering friendly, face-to-face service.

We offer a competitive all-in pay with base and bonuses, health benefits, PTO, 401k, and opportunities for advancement. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are common, and sales experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with electronics repair is a plus.
• Sales experience is a big plus.

AVG ALL IN PAY WITH BASE AND BONUSES $17-$19/HR

Our technicians are problem solvers who specialize in a wide variety of electronic device repairs, including Cell phones, Tablets, computers, laptops, game consoles and much more.

Amtel Repair is looking for candidates with good people skills, customer service experience, and a knack for technology! Sales experience is a plus. Candidates must be willing to learn electronic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assess customer device needs to deliver outstanding service.
• Resolve customer issues relating to equipment problems by repairing phones, tablets, and other consumer electronics.
• Stay up to speed on newly released and upcoming technology in the industry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Face-to-face customer service experience
• Experience with product service support or troubleshooting electronics
• Selling accessories, device care along with smart watches, headsets and other like products
• Knowledge of mobile devices, operating systems, laptops, gaming systems, and other electronic devices
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google equivalent
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Sales experience is a big plus
• Any wireless device repair certifications are a plus (i.e., Apple Certified Technicians, CTIA WISE Certifications)
