Job summary

Amtel Repair is hiring a Cell Phone Repair Technician to diagnose and fix phones, tablets, and related devices while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will engage customers, assess device issues, and perform repairs with a focus on quality and efficiency. The role includes opportunities for training, advancement, and benefits, supporting a collaborative team environment in Albuquerque.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face customer service experience is required.
• Selling accessories and device care is a plus.
• Knowledge of mobile devices, operating systems, laptops, gaming systems, and other electronics.
• Any wireless device repair certifications are a plus (e.g., Apple Certified Technicians, CTIA WISE).

AVG ALL IN PAY WITH BASE AND BONUSES $17-$19/HR

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assess customer device needs to deliver outstanding service.
• Resolve customer issues relating to equipment problems by repairing phones, tablets, and other consumer electronics.
• Stay up to speed on newly released and upcoming technology in the industry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Face-to-face customer service experience
• Experience with product service support or troubleshooting electronics
• Selling accessories, device care along with smart watches, headsets and other like products
• Knowledge of mobile devices, operating systems, laptops, gaming systems, and other electronic devices
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google equivalent
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Sales experience is a big plus
• Any wireless device repair certifications are a plus (i.e., Apple Certified Technicians, CTIA WISE Certifications)
