Summary:

Our technical communications team seeks an experienced technical writer with a strong background in security documentation for networking products. The successful candidate will create clear, comprehensive, and user-friendly technical content, including installation guides, release notes, and user content for a range of networking security products.

This role requires close collaboration with engineering teams. Candidates should be comfortable working in lab environments and interpreting technical data.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed end-user documentation for security products.

• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer support teams to gather technical information and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Create installation guides, release notes, and other user content.
• Organize and present complex technical information in a clear, concise, and logical manner for various personas (end users, installers, and support staff).
• Edit and update existing documentation to reflect product updates and new features.
• Follow company standards and templates for technical writing and documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience writing security documentation for networking products (minimum 4 years preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, etc.).
• Proficient in authoring tools such as Oxygen XML, Markdown, or similar.
