Job summary

Clack Corporation in Windsor, Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level, part-time Documentation Specialist to create and update procedural materials. You will work with engineering, production, and technical staff to ensure accuracy and clarity of assembly procedures.

You will observe current procedures, photograph parts and activities, and gather drawings or QA references to support proper documentation. Strong writing and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
  • Proficient use of a digital camera for capturing information and operations, applying minor edits with photo editing software, and importing documents.
  • Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a professional manner.
  • Ability to efficiently work with all levels of staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organization.
  • Previous experience in assembly manufacturing/operations helpful but not required.
  • Previous experience working with CMS a plus.

  • Compile final draft for manufacturing management review and approval.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
