Job summary

Rapid Cycle Solutions LLC (RCS) seeks a Technical Writer to join a national intelligence program supporting the Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management team. The role requires strong technical writing skills to produce SOPs, user manuals, proposals, and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.

The successful candidate will translate complex cloud technologies into clear documentation, maintain editorial standards, and collaborate with PMO and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is required
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years experience; Master’s with 7+ years; PhD/JD with 4+ years
• Experience organizing activities for a small team of writers
• Proven experience using Confluence, SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable researching cloud technologies

Responsibilities

• Compose technical documents including SOPs, user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals and reports
• Edit descriptive and technical content for accuracy and readability
• Conduct research and ensure proper technical terminology is used
• Organize material and complete writing tasks following standards for order, conciseness, style and terminology
• Set overall editorial standards and layout for submissions
• Work with PMO to develop a consistent style and language
• Manage schedules, assignments and meetings for all narratives and submissions
