Job summary

CACI is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support the Defense Intelligence Agency and the CIS program. This full-time role documents complex digital infrastructure systems, translates technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation, and leverages AI tools to accelerate drafts.

You will draft SOPs, operation manuals, knowledge articles, and guides; contribute to knowledge management portals; and collaborate with engineering and ITSM teams to ensure accurate, timely content for

Qualifications

Must hold a current Top Secret SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly prior to start.
Exceptional writing, proofreading, and grammar skills.
Proven ability to distill complex, technical information into clear, concise, and accurate text under deadline pressure.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a larger, multi-writer team.
Experience utilizing standard office suites and document publishing tools to develop base templates and manipulate output styles.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to new environments.

Responsibilities

Document Development & Editing: Drafts, reviews, and maintains technical documents (concepts of operations, guides, SOPs, manuals, and user articles).
Translate technical drawings and engineering consultations into formatted publications.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate drafts and provide formatting options.
Knowledge Management: maintain knowledge portal and document repository, manage training plans and diagrams.
Cross-Functional Support: collaborate with engineering, operations, and ITSM teams to capture requirements and explain complex ideas clearly.
