Job summary

Rapid Cycle Solutions LLC (RCS) is seeking a Technical Writer to support a national intelligence program in Chantilly, VA. The role involves composing, editing, and organizing technical documents, translating complex cloud concepts into clear manuals and reports, and coordinating with the PMO.

Candidates must hold TS/SCI with CI Poly, be a U.S. citizen, and have strong writing, research, and documentation skills using Confluence, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
• U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)
• Bachelor’s degree and required experience or higher
• Will accept additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience organizing and coordinating activities for a small team of writers
• Experience using Confluence, SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable researching cloud technologies

Responsibilities

• Composing technical documents including SOPs, user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports
• Editing functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or other customer deliverables
• Conducting research and ensuring proper technical terminology
• Organizing material and completing writing assignments to standards
• Establishing overall editorial layout and standards
• Working with PMO to develop a consistent style and language
• Managing schedule, assignments, and meetings for narratives and submissions
