GVI, Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer to support the TMMA function for PMO 314 and to manage MBPS Tech Data Management (TDMIS) records for technical manuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; may be offset by 2 years additional experience and a relevant associate's degree, an additional 4 years of experience in Technical Writing or MBPS Tech Data Mgmt/ TDMIS data entry experience.
• Five (5) years’ experience in editing and publication development.
• TDMIS familiarity highly desired.
• Excellent written and spoken command of the English language.
• Motivation to generate new work by listening to clients and coworkers and proposing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain MBPS Tech Data Mgmt or TDMIS records; ensure manuals are indexed and distributed to Fleet users.
• Incorporate approved updates into manual formats; execute redlining based on engineering data and signed proposals.
• Verify data completeness; route incomplete packages for remediation; avoid authoring new procedures.
• Track periodic review cycles and notify relevant teams when manuals are due for review.
