Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical writing experience in capital equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience documenting complex systems across mechanical, optical, electrical, and software disciplines.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, accessible documentation.
• Experience developing and delivering technical training programs.
• Strong attention to detail, version control discipline, and procedural accuracy.
• Excellent written communication and visual presentation skills.
• Proactive communication style with SMEs in engineering and NPI.
• Experience using Arena PLM for formal document control.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and modern AI productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update procedures for assembly, alignment, calibration, and test of laser-based semiconductor tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, optical, and manufacturing teams to capture accurate process details.
• Produce illustrated work instructions and calibration guides using CAD drawings and photos.
• Create standardized guides, SOPs, and onboarding templates for new hires.
• Ensure documentation complies with ISO 9001, SEMI, and laser safety standards (ANSI Z136).
• Partner with operators and engineers to drive Continuous Improvement, updating docs with feedback.
