Concept Solutions, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer and Knowledge Manager to support a DoW modernization program. You will develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and a knowledge base to enable reliable operations and sustained service delivery.

Remote, full-time role with two-week sprints and occasional travel to the Washington, DC area. Requires 3+ years in technical writing or knowledge management and an active Secret clearance; experience with Confluence and

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing or knowledge management supporting software operations teams.
• Experience using Confluence and Jira for documentation, knowledge management, and team collaboration.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience documenting Government systems and supporting formal deliverable review processes.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance for the DoW customer. An active Secret clearance or higher.

Description Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer & Knowledge Manager to support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War (DoW) customer.

This initiative will streamline access across a portfolio of production applications by introducing a unified sign-on experience, a common work surface, and a standardized approach to integrating applications into a shared platform—all while maintaining the reliability and continuity of existing systems.

In this role, you will help ensure that essential technical knowledge is accurately documented, organized, and accessible to the teams responsible for application operations and sustainment. You will work closely with technical and support teams to maintain documentation that supports operational consistency, knowledge sharing, and effective service delivery.

Technical Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Develop, capture, and maintain technical documentation, including operational runbooks, known-issue lists, interface documentation, and the application portfolio's sustainment baseline deliverable.

Location and Schedule

• Location: Remote
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with core hours from 9:00 a.m. The program operates in two-week sprints, with a customer demonstration each sprint.
• Travel: 0–10%, within the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
