Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Technical Writer in Oklahoma City to support FAA documentation efforts at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. The role focuses on creating, revising, and updating technical documents, while ensuring 508 compliance and adherence to style guides.

You will collaborate with teams, map business processes, and deliver finished files in Word or Acrobat formats, with an emphasis on plain language and continuous improvement. Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or master’s with less than 2 years prior relevant experience
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Teams
• Ability to map business processes, prepare documentation, and perform analysis

Responsibilities

• Support the creation, revision, and updating of technical documents
• Provide writing input for documents and SOPs; ensure plain language and process improvement
• Assist in coordinating document reviews and the 508 compliance process
• Deliver electronic files on schedule in Word or Acrobat formats
