Job summary
Leidos is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to develop and maintain knowledge articles, SOPs, and other documentation for the Digital Sector. The role includes quality reviews, rewriting, and collaborating with technical experts to produce documents across various formats, including CONOPS and instructions.
The candidate will translate complex concepts into multiple document types, draft user guides, and prepare executive summaries, while supporting data sources and creating MS PowerPoint
Qualifications
- Requires a current SECRET Security Clearance.
- BS or MS in IT or related field and IT experience.
- Experience authoring executive-level documentation and SOPs.
- Expert level in Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with a Configuration Management tool (SharePoint preferred).
- ITIL Framework knowledge.
- CIVPERs classification knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed technical and non-technical briefings.
- Combine materials into documents with a consistent voice.
- Translate complex concepts into documents (requirements, compliance, SOPs, test results).
- Draft user guides, FAQs, and executive summaries.
- Develop SOPs, checklists, and process charts for IA functions.
- Create and maintain data sources; collaborate with data architect.
