Two95 International Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer/Editor for a contract-to-hire 6+ month engagement in Crownsville, MD.

The role focuses on creating and editing user manuals, installation guides, and proposals while ensuring accurate technical terminology and clarity for both technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities include organizing information for documentation, editing multiple deliverables, and producing on-line help using the Windows help compiler.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in technical writing and editing.
• Two+ years preparing and editing documents including standards research.
• Ability to work independently or with general direction.
• Experience translating technical information into clear, readable documents.
• Proficiency with Windows help compiler for online documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize information for user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
• Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, and customer deliverables.
• Research and ensure proper technical terminology.
• Translate technical information for readers.
• Use the standard help compiler to prepare on-line documentation.
• Assist in performing financial and administrative functions.
