Job summary

RealmOne is seeking a Technical Writer to prepare and maintain documentation across software, systems engineering, and operations for a high-impact enterprise IT program based in Columbia, MD. The role requires producing installation guides, end-user manuals, and data flow documents.

You will need strong skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence, plus six years of TW experience and a technical degree. A current security clearance is required for this contract.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years’ experience as a Technical Writer in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four additional years of TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
• Write and edit technical documentation for all of the project’s hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation.
• Create code documentation for software, produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities, provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation.
