Actalent is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our Integrated Logistics Team in Clarksburg, MD. The successful candidate will create and maintain technical manuals, specifications, release notes, and training material for military-grade equipment.

You will collaborate with engineers and analysts to convert complex data into clear documentation, ensure compliance with defense standards, and meet tight deadlines in a fully onsite, contract-to-hire role.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar documentation role.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and engineering workflows.
• Proficiency with documentation tools (Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat).
• Experience with XML coding using Arbortext Editor and Creo Illustrate.

Responsabilidades

• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation (manuals, quick references, specs, release notes, training material).
• Review compliance with customer requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, analysts, and project leads to clarify technical details.
• Convert technical information into structured, clear documentation aligned with standards.
• Address review comments and incorporate feedback from reviews and events.
• Conduct quality reviews for clarity, accuracy, grammar, and style compliance.
