Topsort is seeking a motivated Technical Writer to join our US Engineering team. You will translate complex concepts into engaging, accessible documentation for developers, customers, and internal teams.

You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Solutions to capture new features, maintain API docs, and build scalable documentation that grows with the product. This fast-paced startup environment emphasizes clarity, visuals, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another STEM field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer for software, APIs, or enterprise SaaS.
• Excellent written communication with ability to explain complex tech clearly.

Responsibilities

• Craft engaging documentation for user guides, API docs, and onboarding materials.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible docs for developers and customers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Solutions teams to document new features.
• Build and maintain docs that evolve with the product and APIs.
• Improve developer experience by identifying gaps and collecting feedback.
• Establish standards, templates, and best practices for scalable docs.
