Zachery Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer to support a high-visibility US Coast Guard prototype initiative. This fully remote role requires clear, accessible documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and adherence to USCG documentation standards.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5–8 years in technical writing in technical, engineering, or federal environments, and an Active Secret Clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–8 years of technical writing in a technical, engineering, or federal environment.
• Proven experience developing and editing user manuals, SOPs, system documentation, proposals/RFP responses, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear, structured, and accessible documentation.
• Active Secret Clearance.

You will have the opportunity to join a rapidly growing, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business supporting both federal and commercial clients in a fully remote role. The Technical Writer will play a key role in ensuring all project deliverables are accessible to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders and meet USCG documentation requirements.

This position requires an Active Secret Clearance to be considered for the role

Compensation for the Technical Writer includes:

• Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
