Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Technical Writer in the Content Experience organization to produce documentation, online help, guides, videos, and in‑app assistance for the Agentforce Sales application, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and UX designers in an Agile environment.

You will own and maintain documentation for Salesforce apps, support scrum teams, create guides and tutorials, ensure accessibility and accuracy, and work with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and

Qualifications

  • Under 2 years of experience as a writer, editor, or developer.
  • Recent undergraduate or graduate (within 12 months of graduation).
  • Ability to adhere to established styles and documentation processes.
  • Rapid learning of new technologies and tools.
  • Experience creating online help.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of XML or HTML.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or communications field.

About the Role

A Technical Writer in the Content Experience organization at Salesforce. The role focuses on producing documentation, online help, guides, videos, and in‑app assistance for the Agentforce Sales application.   • Use of source control (Perforce, Git).
  • Authoring tools such as Oxygen XML Editor.
  • Familiarity with Markdown and AI tools such as Claude, Code, or Cursor.
Compensation

Base salary range: $87,000 – $96,000 annually (U.S.). In select markets (SanFrancisco and NewYorkCity), the range is $105,000 – $105,000. Salary does not include bonus, equity or additional benefits.
