Job summary

Mindlance in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) is seeking a skilled technical writer to lead documentation efforts, develop publishing strategy, and produce manuals, references, forms, and training materials.

You will review content, ensure quality, align with procedures and controls, and collaborate with clients and peers to address technical documentation needs, delivering clear, accurate information.

Qualifications

• Experience consulting and writing content with subject matter experts.
• Control procedure writing experience for manual, quality assurance, and automated controls.
• Extensive knowledge of professional technical writing processes and tools.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in developing documentation or document publishing strategy, including procedures, reference, forms, links, and RCSA control documents.
• Participate in establishing web publication guidelines, conduct procedure audits and certifications, or manage procedure timeline and pipeline
• Review and edit material authored by others
• Design and develop technical project artifacts, manuals, technical presentations, technical training materials, and complex web content
• Recommend and document business procedures and best practices, identifying process gaps and offering alternatives
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Partner with clients to review audience and develop strategy to address technical documentation needs

Responsibilities:
